Garda Lake

Lake Garda features 155 km of coasts and it is the largest lake in Italy.

Peaks scattered on mountain chains exceeding 2000 metres in height are present, from which it is possible to admire the glaciers of northern Italy, alpine lakes, the Dolomites, Colline Moreniche, the Padan Plain and, when the sky is very clear, also Venice lagoon.

The castles, with their imposing walls, characterise the historic centres of Malcesine, Torri del Benaco, Bardolino, Lazise, Sirmione, Desenzano, Padenghe and Moniga del Garda. The fortresses of Manerba and Garda are majestic and offer unique panoramic views.

The ancient ruins of the lemon-houses dominate the gulf of Limone and Gargnano coasts.

Peschiera del Garda, crossed by long channels and surrounded by imposing walls, is called Venezia del Lago.

Here you can find some of the biggest Italian and European amusing parks, among which Gardaland, Movieland, Caneva, Acqua Paradise, that offer the opportunity to spend a different and amusing day during your holiday.
